Partex is founded under the name Electro-Lööf by Tore Lööf in Gullspång, Sweden.
The first sleeve marker PX, is launched. The sleeve marker is made of PVC and comes in three different sizes to cover cable size´s from 1mm² to 16mm². The marker was equipped with a plug-in pocket in just the right size for a label with marking information on it.

The first subsidiary was formed, Partex Marking Systems [UK] Ltd. Partex bought it´s distributor in Birmingham, England, after a collaboration of nearly twenty years.
A subsidiary was founded in Germany.
Subsidiaries were founded in Poland and France.
A subsidiary was founded in USA.
TorBjörn Lööf acquired 100% of Partex.
Sophie Lööf became co-owner of Partex.
A subsidiary was founded in India.
A subsidiary was founded in Russia. Lööf Foundation is founded and becomes an important part in the company’s CSR work.
A subsidiary in Brazil was founded and 60% of Partex Ariane was acquired. Grand opening of our sales office in Dubai.
70% of former distributor Haley's Electrical Engineering in South Africa was acquired and became a subsidiary.
Sophie Lööf acquired 70% of Partex and became a majority owner.
Sophie Lööf is the owner (100%) of Partex.
